CONS:

Marketed as real food like Spring but Muir is made with molasses and fruit. Good variety of flavors (8). Decent amount of electrolytes, but you’ll still need to supplement.

CONS:
Expensive, high sugar, low complex carbs, no aminos, some people don’t like the taste of molasses.

PROS:
Another gel marketed as real food, made with apple juice and brown rice syrup. Decent amount of electrolytes but you’ll still need to supplement.

CONS:
High sugar, very expensive for what you get, only one flavor

SIS Go Gel

PROS:
Thin consistency

CONS:
Low energy (only 87 calories), virtually no electrolytes, no aminos and it uses the artificial sweetener Acesulfame K (Ace-K).

UCAN Gel

PROS:
Complex carbs makes UCAN better for endurance than high sugar gels

CONS:
Low energy (only 70 calories), very low electrolytes, no aminos and it contain sugar alcohols.

Gatorade Gel

PROS:
Moderate level of complex carbs and fairly low sugar, decent electrolyte levels (need to supplement).

CONS:
Product appears to have been discontinued in 2023, no aminos
