Comprehensive information about energy gels to help athletes find what will work best for their specific needs.

The Problem

If you Google “best energy gels” or anything like that, you’ll get several “articles” that are useless. Most of them only list 4 or 5 gels, leaving out many of the best. You will also notice that all of these so called articles have links for you to buy each of the gels (at Amazon, etc.). If you look further you will see the all of the links are actually affiliate links, meaning that they are making money off the sale. The gels with the highest commissions are usually the ones you’ll find in the “best energy gel articles”. This does a complete disservice to athletes that are actually trying to research energy gels, and that’s why we put together this resource.

No Shopping Links

On energy-gels.com we don’t do any of that. In fact, you will not find any shopping or affiliate links on this site at all. For every energy gel we provide a link directly to the manufacture’s website for you to learn more about their gel and to see where they recommend you purchase (direct from their website, physical retail stores, Amazon, etc.)

No "Best Energy Gel"

The fact is, there is no “best energy gel”. Energy gels that work best for ultra distance events are typically not going to be the best choice for shorter events. Some athletes put emphasis on price, or natural ingredients, or the amount of electrolytes, etc. More importantly, every athlete’s body is different and they need to find what works best for themself. Therefore, our goal is to provide information to allow you to make informed choices for yourself.

No Advertisements

Currently we do not run banner ads, video ads, etc. on this site and we have no intention to. At some point in the future we may allow ads to run along side content on this site to help offset the on-going cost of maintaining the content. But for now our costs is nominal, so no advertisements!
